Federal and state funding does not pay for more than the basics. The arts, new technologies, college readiness and other “extras” that prepare students for a future tomorrow must be privately funded today.
As the nonprofit for the Palm Springs Unified School District, The Foundation helps close gaps in public and state funding by providing a sustainable stream of private-sector funds to support 20,000 students at 28 schools in 6 cities served by thePalm Springs Unified School District: Desert Hot Springs,Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Thousand Palms
